In a quiet moment after her For Beginners Only workout, Claudia S. reflects on a journey that has been anything but ordinary. "I had no idea that I had been living with this condition my whole life," Claudia shares. The revelation came with a challenging journey—a brain surgery that removed 5 inches of her temporal lobe.
A year later, sitting in her neurosurgeon’s office, she decided it was time for a lifestyle change. She had been seizure-free since her surgery and felt like she had a second chance at life.
At five-foot-five, Claudia weighed 262 lbs. and was considered severely obese. “I was at my heaviest, and I had no energy,” she remembers.
