Can Shakeology be used for weight loss or as a meal replacement?

On its own Shakeology does not replace a meal, but it can be part of a balanced meal or breakfast, or can be combined with healthy foods like fruit, nuts, seeds, and healthy fats from avocados or nut milk to make a complete meal. In a clinical trial, Shakeology was taken twice a day before breakfast and lunch and positively influenced weight management (participants experienced more weight loss) and metabolic outcomes (such as decreased cholesterol) compared to a placebo.
